Hands down the weirdest baseball game I've ever seen. I don't even know where to begin. Watch the highlights, but I don't think it'll do the game justice. People were basically square-dancing on the field between batters to move into new positions. Fielders went head first into the stands several times. The Yankees lost their DH in the end. Then there was that weird play that was almost a triple play (I think...at least that's what the annoucers said...still confused on that) but wasn't. Just GUH?

That was nowhere near a triple play. What happened was that A-rod thought he could get Manny out twice by getting the force out and then tagging him. The umpire quickly reminded A-rod that although Manny ought to count as two outs he only counts as one that quieted A-rod down immediately.

Oh, is that what the deal was? He thought Manny should count for two outs? I couldn't understand where the third out was coming from. And that was much more of a shove than a tag.

Basically, A-rod got the force out and then when Manny came around to 3rd he forgot that Manny had already been out and thought it was a fresh, new out. I guess A-rod isn't the smartest guy on the team. My favorite t-shirt is "Jeter sucks A-rod".
