Those who know me, know that there is but one show that I would give almost anything to do. I have taken a bus to New York for a Broadway audition on the same day that I had to do a show back here in MA, auditioned and come back. I have driven all the way to NJ to audition (only to find out that it was only the equivalent of a high school production, not the semi-professional one that the director led me to believe).

Well, this time, I came back from vacation, getting in to Back Bay at 5:15 after riding 8 hours on a train, and had to be at a 7pm audition...

All I can say is, third time is the charm, baby! I am finally going to be a cast member of Hair!

Okay, now the worries. I am concerned that I won't be able to do all the rehearsals due to trying to cover the desk at the library. I'm very concerned that my body, particularly my foot and knees won't hold up to the dancing. I'm really scared about that, actually. But I can't pass this up, I've been dying to do this show since I was 6, and somebody actually wants me for it! I'm just going to have to go for it...

That's fantastic news--can you tell us anything about the production?

As for your concerns, they sound legitimate, but I can't really comment on them. I can only wish you the best--and hope that these concerns don't actually become problems.

wow! that's exciting, Danielle.

So where is this happening? And I wish you the best as you deal with the issues you mentioned. Hopefully they won't interfere too much
