How I got the call for this one, I just don't know. But here's me talking to a Boston Herald (that's a newspaper for those not in Boston...one of the two big ones) about the effect the new Harry Potter will have on children:

The article

We talked about a good deal more than that, but I'm pleased overall with what she put in.

...So I am guessing Harry Potter does die?

Having spent the last several years immersed in Buffy fandom this isn't terribly traumitizing. Although pre-Buffy fandom it would be. Now I get to the end of a movie and say things like "But, a main and deeply beloved character didn't die at the end! Shamefull! Totally no fun! Why make loveably characters if you can't kill them?"

Don't know yet, the Times article didn't reveal who dies, just that it's a bloodbath. Which we pretty much already knew, but whatever. It's news, I guess.
