I was thwarted in a number of my productive plans today by various technical difficulties. So, I thought I'd finally get around to my boxes of pictures...

The plan was to do a middle/high school fun album. This would be the pictures of myself and my friends, not the multitudes of family pictures that accumulate. It will eventually include pictures like YJ, prom, the senior trip to NH etc. (I think that Cornell and Europe need their own specific albums, but I'm not sure yet.)

Things started off well. I started with the pictures from my 12th b-day trip to NH. My Mom was crazy enough to take 5 12-year-olds on a weekend trip all by herself (bless her soul). I was having fun picking pictures and writing silly captions/storylines to go along. Then I looked back at what I did...

Sigh. I had skipped two sets of pages along the way, and I had been writing in ink. I've given up for now, because I'm not sure yet how I want to fix this. I guess that's why you put in all the pictures before you start writing? (Seems much less fun that way.)

Hmmm, what to do...

It'll be your nine year reunion soon! Fun Fun!

Those were the days. Wanna go to IHOP?

You are nuts. I just put all those pics in a box, and never looked back. Well, I did the other day, but I was looking for something around the pics.

As for the ink and misplacing, that is the WORST! I've had that happen. Those damn pages DO stick together.
Can't you just move them? Or is it not one of those albums where you can move pages around?
White out, or white out tape . . .... or those adhesive labels could cover things up. Or you could just start over in a new book.

Better yet! Scan everything onto your computer, then create a photo album with iPhoto or something, and then print it out if you really want a hard copy.

Re: 9 years

Well, to be sure, there will be no pictures of Ben (that bastard), but I will have to include some of Suzanne and Peter for the humor value. That's the great thing about doing the comments so many years later... you get to be as snarky as you want. :)

No, I can't move the pages unfortunately. I figure it will the white-out route, but that's just so depressing.
