I went to the doctor today (who was running two hours late... grrr). Turns out I have really bad sprain, and not a break (yay!). I am now wearing this huge black boot that looks and feels like a velcro ski-boot. I can walk on it (painfully, quite painfully) with my crutches. Look Ma, I'm walking!

Still not planning on going anywhere with it though.

Yay. Well, that's good news. Mom was telling me that on the way home today.

Oh, did dad ever give you the stuff we bought (chair, shower thingy, bag thingy)?

If I had "fell better," I wouldn't be in this mess. ;) But thanks. Yeah, Dad came and dropped the stuff off that evening. Made showering worlds easier. I'm more than grateful.

Re: Good

Hmm...well, "fell better" as a command would involve the transitive verb of the same semantic range and etymology--perhaps what he really meant was:

"Take 'better' and kick its ass! Break it down! Knock 'Better' to its feet and end the game right there! FELL BETTER! And only 'Good' and 'Best' will remain!"
