New tricks become old

Many of you know my habit of getting crushes on gay men. I was under the impression that this started sometime in high school or college... But, it seems I started younger and didn't know it. I was tooling around Friendster last night, and started putting in names from the past. It seems that one of my "significant crushes" (this one at around age 12...and yes, another 'Dan') is, in fact, gay. Well, that explains why I could never attract his attention at the time. ;)

Actually, out of curiosity, this morning I put in other names from my theatre camp that I remembered, and every single guy I found turned out to be gay. Talk about proving a stereotype. Actually, one guy that I wasn't interested in at the time (he was too dorky and something of a womanizer) has become devastatingly handsome. Who knew?

Yeah, he was a weird child. Of course, many of the people I went to camp with qualify as weird children.
