Merlin learned a new trick today, to add to his bevy of "tricks I wish he didn't know." Top on that list is his habit of shutting off the computer in the middle of something I'm doing. But today, he went sniffing around my lunch. In the past week or so, we've tried to give him little treats such as fish or chicken that happens to be around, but he doesn't want it if we present it to him. I tried again today with a small piece of chicken I was holding for him to eat. While I did that (such that both hands were full, one with chicken and one with the plate), he managed to grab and run off with a whole chicken breast from my plate! Oy.
