Stupid city council...

I understand there has been an upswing in gun violence in the city neighborhoods. Believe me, it's hard not to think about it and be worried. But, banning adults from playgrounds???? What the hell good is that going to do? It's the teens who are doing the shooting, why should I not be allowed to swing or play in the spray fountains? Stupid city coucilors...

In other news, it's really hard to sit here and wait for the library to open. I got back from dinner last night to find that the job that I really really wanted had called to schedule an interview. At night after 7pm!!!! Now the library has to open so I can call back and schedule it...

An embarrasment of riches

Okay, so now I have two interviews scheduled for Tuesday, one in the morning, and one in the afternoon. I'm probably crazy. This will come after an audition the night before for the stage version of Rocky Horror, and if it goes well, callbacks tuesday night. This is all after going to an orthodox wedding on Sunday, and hopefully the beach with Dan (who has the day off) on Monday. Oh, and did I mention there's a local school that wants help with their library on a volunteer basis? Oy. All good I know, but a little overwhelming.
