Thoughts while waiting for the pot to boil, and the eggs to cook....
So I finally had that meeting today. It went very well I think, and I got a lot of good information for my project. I wasn't really angry at her a couple of days ago, I was just annoyed at the setback, and throwing off my timeline to get things done on this project. I really want this class to be over, and this is the last thing. We have no classes next week because of the DNC.
Went to Shakespeare in the Commons last night. An excellent production taht everyone should see (it's free guys). I realized that in four years of trying, this is the first show that Dan and I have actually seen all the way through! The first year, the production was the Tempest. It monsooned the first time we tried to see it (appropriate, I thought). Then we tried again, and it was raining early in the day, but clear at night, but the stage was too wet and slippery and it would have been dangerous to use wet lights. So no Tempest. The next year was one of the Henry plays, which we got to, but we left halfway through becuase it was dreadful. I don't know why we missed last year, prolly something to do with moving.
So, I've got a few job applications in, with some more prospects to follow up on. Keep your fingers crossed for me! I am now trying purple folders to get noticed. Apparently the last job I applied for had 70 applicants. So I'm working on visually standing out from the crowd.
Okay, hungry and I want to get to the farmer's market early. Say it with me now: Cook you damn eggs!!!!
